About Healthcare Headhunters

This is what we do all day: recruit healthcare professionals.

Tell us which seat is open, what the person will own and what makes it hard to fill. We start with the work, not a stack of resumes.

Healthcare specialists

Who is Healthcare Headhunters?

Healthcare Headhunters is a specialist recruiting firm for healthcare, based in Miami. We recruit nationwide, in all 50 states, for local, relocation and traveling roles. Our clients need people who can do the work behind a job title. Permanent placement on contingency is our core service.

That might mean a nurse taking an unfamiliar assignment, a technologist working without another specialist beside them, or a department head fixing a recurring staffing problem.

No upfront fee. You pay only if you hire. You hire the person onto your payroll, and the placement terms are agreed in writing. Other arrangements are discussed separately, so a request for temporary coverage does not get treated like a permanent vacancy.

We ask about the shift, the team and the decisions this person will make. We want to know what has made the job hard to fill. If the schedule is driving people away, sending more resumes will not fix it. If the title understates the work, we need to correct the brief before contacting candidates.

A candidate should not discover the weekend rota after accepting your offer. Tell us where the handover breaks down, which colleagues can help and what must wait for a supervisor. We use those details in conversations with people doing similar work now. For a relocation hire, we also ask what would make the move practical. The job has to make sense when someone pictures a normal working day, not just when they read the title.

Industry focus

Why does a healthcare-only recruiter matter for your search?

We belong to a group of recruiting brands run from Miami. Each is built around one industry. The recruiter working your search already knows the jobs, the titles, the licenses and where good people work. Healthcare has its own recruiting brand because hiring for a clinical shift is different from hiring for an office.

A credential matters, but it does not tell the whole story. An imaging hire may know the scanner but have little experience with the exams your patients need. A nurse may have the right license but want a schedule your unit cannot offer. We use the job's daily work to decide which backgrounds belong in the search.

That industry focus also changes the first conversation with a candidate. We explain what they would be taking on, who supports them and why the opening exists. We ask what would make a move worth considering. You can read How We Work for the engagement options and How We Compare for the differences between recruiting models.

How do we run a search?

Search Calibration and Market Mapping establish the brief and the backgrounds we should approach. Professional Contact Intelligence and Persistent Personalized Outreach help us reach working candidates with a reason to consider your opening. Live Candidate Qualification and Candidate Intelligence and Process Support turn those conversations into candidate briefs, interviews and offer discussions.

Positions we recruit

Which healthcare roles do we recruit?

Physicians, nurses, CRNAs, PAs and allied health pros who aren't job hunting. From X-ray techs to CMOs. We also recruit nurse practitioners, therapists, pharmacists, behavioral health professionals and dental staff. Clinic support and revenue cycle roles belong here too. A practice cannot run well when patients cannot get scheduled or claims keep coming back unpaid.

We cover frontline jobs as well as managers and healthcare leaders. The title tells us where to begin; your setting tells us what to check. An RN in home health works differently from an RN beside an ICU bed. A lab generalist working alone overnight faces a different shift from a specialist in a larger department. We ask about those differences before choosing a source pool. Our positions index lists the roles and families we cover, with pages explaining the work and the checks behind each search. If your title is unusual, describe the job in the form below. We would rather hear what the person does than force your opening into the wrong category.

Working with us

What do we promise employers?

You should know what we are searching for and why someone belongs on your shortlist. We discuss the candidate's interest, the work they have done and the questions still needing an answer. We do not treat a license as proof of fit.

We offer a candidate replacement guarantee on standard search agreements. The applicable period and exact terms are set out in the signed client recruiting agreement.

Your interview should test the decisions this person would make on your team.

We arrange locum tenens, travel and contract coverage on request. Credentialing, licensing and malpractice coverage are confirmed per engagement before anyone starts.

What should you know before contacting us?

Healthcare Headhunters is a search firm that recruits healthcare professionals for employers. The answers below cover where we work, which roles we fill and how to reach us. If your question is not covered here, call us or use the intake form and a member of the team will reply.

Where is Healthcare Headhunters based?

Healthcare Headhunters is based in Miami and recruits nationwide. Your opening can be local, require relocation, or involve an agreed traveling arrangement. We discuss the actual work location before outreach, so a candidate knows what move or commute the job involves. The firm is part of Royalty Talent LLC.

Does the firm only recruit healthcare executives?

Our name stays Healthcare Headhunters, but the work includes physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, allied health, and leaders. You can search the positions index for your actual title. A staff opening and a manager opening have different screening points. We discuss those differences rather than put every job into an executive search.

How can you reach the firm about an opening?

Call 305-306-4829 or use the intake below. Give us the role, setting, and what the person must handle. You do not need to prepare a complete search brief before contacting us. Our stated hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern.

What are the fee and payment terms?

No upfront fee. You pay only if you hire. The signed agreement sets the fee and when it is due, along with the placement terms. We agree those terms before the search starts and before any candidate introductions. Temporary or contract coverage is a separate arrangement.

How long will it take to see a short list?

That depends on the job, schedule, available people, and what your employer can offer. We discuss those constraints before outreach and update you as candidates respond. We do not promise a fixed shortlist date. We check the job brief before arranging interviews. Tell us which parts of the role you can change.

What if a candidate receives a counteroffer?

We ask why the person wants to move and discuss competing decisions before an offer. A counteroffer can still change their choice. Keep the duties and offer clear rather than assuming more money settles every concern. Tell us early if parts of your offer cannot change, so the candidate hears it from us first.

What are the replacement terms?

We offer a candidate replacement guarantee on standard search agreements. The applicable period and exact terms are set out in the signed client recruiting agreement. Ask us to walk through those terms before you sign, so you know how a replacement would work for your opening and who would start it.

What do we not do in a standard permanent search?

We do not bill standard contingency search by the hour or simply repost your job. Temporary coverage is a separate arrangement. Any retainer or different engagement must be agreed, not assumed. Tell us early if you need coverage while the permanent search runs.
