Compare up to 3 roles or metros
Healthcare Headhunters recruits healthcare professionals for employers. No upfront fee. You pay only if you hire.
This is what we do all day: recruit healthcare professionals.
Side by side on one shared axis, with honest notes when titles share a BLS occupation. Results show on screen with no email. Your inputs stay in your browser until you ask for a report.
All math runs in your browser using published BLS figures and the numbers you type. Nothing is sent until you request a report. Method: methodology. BLS OEWS May 2025.
How should you read a comparison across roles and areas?
Healthcare Headhunters lets you compare published occupations and areas on one shared scale. You can choose different roles in one area or the same role in different areas. The mapping stays visible for each selection. A narrower facility title does not automatically have a separate BLS distribution.
Two selected titles may resolve to the same occupation and area. When that happens, identical figures are the honest result. We explain the overlap rather than altering one column to make the comparison look useful. Your hiring brief may distinguish the jobs even when the wage source does not.
A shared chart axis makes the published ranges comparable. Read the table alongside it to see the exact available points. A wider band describes a wider distribution in the source. It is not a statement that the job is harder, more senior, or worth more at your facility.
The median difference compares each later slot with the first slot using simple arithmetic. It does not explain why the areas or occupations differ. The employer still needs to examine the work and location. We do not add cost-of-living corrections or forecast a wage for an unreported specialty.
Employment and location quotient describe the published occupation in its area. They do not tell you how many clinicians are available to accept your opening. A person can be counted in employment and have no interest in moving. Recruiting still needs direct conversations about the actual role.
Check the unit and any fallback before sharing the table. An annual-only release cannot supply a separate hourly distribution. An unpublished cell remains unavailable. A saved comparison records your selections, but it should not be used to claim that BLS reports every niche title independently.
Why do two different titles have identical comparison columns?
They can share the same mapped occupation and area. BLS does not separate those niche titles. The tool keeps the mapping note visible so the overlap is clear.
Does a higher metro median prove a local offer is competitive?
No. It describes the occupation’s published distribution. Your role, schedule, and offer still need their own discussion with candidates.
